4/9/13After a very successful foaling season all the stock has had a good dry summer with plenty of grass and the horses are looking well. The stallions have done their job with most of the mares settling back in foal quickly. We will soon be weaning one or two of the April foals,.

15/5/13    Foaling is well under way, first foal arrived early April, there are now seven at Barnard Castle and one at Preston with several more due shortly, all good strong foals and doing well. Like everybody else we are needing some sunshine and grass but at least it has been dry. We have been busy with lambing and foaling so the website has been neglected for a while in fact its now 2.30 am and i am watching the grey mare which is due to foal ,hope all goes well.

15/10/12   The show and sale season is now over and finished quite well for us at the North west and Wales show and sale. Dads 30/4/12 born filly C.H.Nancy May stood fourth in a class of twenty, and made the top price. A colt foal sired by Ithersay Joseph also stood fourth in his class and was the top priced colt at £2400 gns.Congratulations also to Jim Yates who had the highest placed mare at the shire horse of the year final with his Trem-y-wyddfa Mascot sired three year old. Several of this years crop of foals have gone to show and breeding homes and we wish their new owners every success with them.
